Launch of the UN SG’s Independent Accountability Panel 2018 Report: PRIVATE SECTOR – Who is Accountable

Join us at the launch of the 2018 Report of the UN Secretary General’s Independent Accountability Panel for Every Woman, Every Child, Every Adolescent (IAP) co-hosted by the Governments of Finland and South Africa, and co-organized by the IAP with the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (PMNCH).
The IAP is mandated by the UN Secretary-General to conduct an annual independent review of progress of the Every Woman Every Child Global Strategy for Women’s, Children’s and Adolescents’ Health 2016–2030. The report’s key findings and recommendations, focused on this year’s theme – The Private Sector: Who is Accountable? – will be presented by the IAP Co-Chairs joined by a high-level and distinguished panel of dignitaries. Following their brief remarks, audience members will be invited to engage in a dynamic exchange with interventions from the floor, representing Member States, UN agencies, funds and foundations, health professionals, civil society, private sector and other stakeholders.
